Simple preschool activities to do at home
As children slowly grow from
toddlers into mature preschool students, they can take part in more activities
which important part of the development of both cognitive and social is they
become capable of choosing what they want or like from a very early age.
Preschool provides an environment for children to explore, gain a sense of
self, play with peers, develop the social skillset and build self-confidence. Therefore,

Teaching yoga to kids

Teaching to dance and move the
body
It can be a fun activity and can
be quite engaging for the preschooler, some nice moves with music playing in
the background, or copying some dance moves from any dance videos or with
nursery rhythms can keep them physically engaged help in body movement and
coordination at the same time which is good for development.
Teaching the Art of Storytelling
Starting with some sort of simple
characters and a simple plot, like with animals some farm story can be created,
with dolls or fairies or some mythical characters and let the children take it
from there and tell it aloud. It will enhance their imagination skill, even
develop an interest in literature and reading.
Teaching Art and craft
Children can be introduced to
different colours, shapes and sketches, they can be taught simple things around
them like “Sky is Blue”, “Grass is Green” or in terms of shapes and sizes “Sun
is Round” in shape, “Banana is cylindrical”, “Mountains are Triangle “in shape.
In this way they will slowly learn about different shades of colours at the
same time they will get to know about different shapes and sizes.
Teaching Simple cooking
Many parents will be sceptical
about the idea of cooking by children, but it doesn’t mean some hardcore
cooking that should be introduced to little kid. But children can be made to
learn to make a simple salad, sandwiches or learning to assemble foods together,
all these skills will enable them to become self-independent in the long run.
